Similarly, some kind of subtitle to break up the text when you start talking about the deck (for example before "With these lessons learned,") help structure the reading experience in a positive way, at least that's my impression. Simply using the card name as a title in the text before discussing each card in addition to the picture would help enormously with this. Simply put, what you're saying doesn't make any sense if the reader doesn't look at the picture at the same time. Here’s what the card does for you in a nutshell:". It was excluded from most lists for years, and I have no idea why. Once the image is to the left, though, it's actually disorienting to read "This is probably one of, if not the absolute, best cards in the entire deck. It still feels like something is missing from the text that let's me know what the heck you're talking about. The cards from Contagion down to Phantasmagorian appear before the text and make it relatively easy to see what's going on because you naturally parse the pictures before the text. Chapter headings/card names: I found the section where you start talking about individual unusual cards somewhat confusing, especially once you hit Dryad Arbor, probably because of the layout. ![]() I still have some constructive criticism, which you'll hopefully draw maximum profit from given your "new" attitude towards it ) I enjoyed this one quite a bit, your style is engaging while being effective at communicating the information you want to share to your reader. ![]() Hi Micheal, gratz on getting published! :D
